A charming old stone house with beautiful sea views, set in a small and welcoming community. An ideal retreat for nature lovers who appreciate quiet, natural surroundings.
20 minutes from Labin · 10 minutes from Plomin · 5 minutes from Brseč · 25 minutes from Opatija. Several natural beaches are a 10-minute drive away — most require a short walk or climb, which keeps them uncrowded and pristine.
The villa sits above a dramatic stretch of the Kvarner coast, tucked into a quiet hilltop village. The Adriatic is just below — a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the coast.
A few practical things to know so everything runs smoothly.
Keep the switch closest to the downstairs bathroom switched on at all times.
To lock the front door, pull the handle up before turning the key.
Please cover the outdoor patio furniture when it rains. Also avoid washing the outdoor grill with water — just wipe it down with paper towels.
Please don't smoke inside the villa. The outdoor terrace is of course fine.
The insect nets on the windows are held in place with small white magnets along the edges — please don't throw these out.
If it gets cold, plug in the pellet stove and press the 🔥 button to start it. Extra pellets are stored under the stairs. Always make sure it is fully off before going to sleep.
There is an outdoor shower in the front corner of the house — just connect the hose to get it going.
There are two bins — one for general waste and one for recycling. Garbage is collected every Wednesday, recycling every other Wednesday. Please bring the bins to the front of the house on collection days so they get picked up.
Feel free to use anything in the house — it is yours for the stay.
Perched in a quiet hilltop village, high above the Adriatic.

A konoba is a traditional Croatian tavern — informal, family-run, and built around seasonal cooking and warm hospitality. Expect fresh fish pulled from the Kvarner that morning, hand-rolled pasta, lamb slow-roasted under a peka, and local wine poured without ceremony. These are our favourites in the area.
A popular neighbourhood pizzeria in Plomin with wood-fired pies and a laid-back local crowd. Great for an easy evening out with kids.

Remember the climb back up. Rarely crowded even in high season.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the area — reached via a steep paved road that winds down from the village. Clear water, a beloved beach bar perched above the sea, and a view that stays with you. Gets busy in high summer, but worth every step. In summer a shuttle bus runs back up for around €5 per person.
